We chose 12 because traditionally, one album contains 12 songs. Each playlist acts as a soundtrack to the person’s life — and who doesn’t love an even number?

We’re always looking to interview different people in the music industry! We typically prioritize folks who are behind the scenes, though we occasionally interview musicians who have an interesting story. Reach out to us on our Contact page if you’d like to be considered.

The 12 Songs Project was created by Tiffany Wong (hi, that’s me!) back in 2017. It was born out of a desire to learn more about the people who have left their mark on the music industry, in little or big ways, and which songs have changed their lives.
